Understanding and facing our fears can help to loosen their grip so we can face changes with openness and courage. Parenting provides Quakers a challenge to live their faith. During our lecture/discussion we, participants and facilitator, will share what our beliefs and testimonies mean to us and how we can integrate them into family life using Quaker practices. We, members of the Quaker Parenting Initiative, have found that our work introduces people to Quakerism and satisfies a need of parents looking for a spiritual home.
