From June 28 through October 1, the Barn at Pendle Hill will be the setting for an exhibit of photographs by Blair Seitz titled "Experience Deeply." Selected from Blair's work as a photojournalist in Africa and Asia as well as his Pennsylvania journeys, this gallery of photos invites us to "live into" the eyes and faces of individuals and their spirituality. The images of nature can carry the viewer into the mystery of creation and beauty. The intimate photos may help us experience the depth of our own spirituality.
Blair is the photographer of 21 books. A photojournalist with Camera Press, London, for nine years, he has traveled to more than 20 countries on assignment and has been published in many leading magazines in the US, Europe and Asia, including the New York Times Magazine, Times of London, the South China Morning Post and National Geographic. In the last several years he has turned to rediscovering photography as an enhancement to deeper spirituality. He has taken many photographs at Pendle Hill during his times on campus as a resident student and sojourner.
