Pendle Hill's new Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator is named a Champion of Diversity

In its September 24 issue, the Courier Post of southern New Jersey announced that Darlene Walker, Pendle Hill's new Director of Admissions and Recruitment, has been named a Champion of Diversity for August.  Darlene was honored for her work as the founder of Prepare International Inc., an organization that brings students from Africa to southern New Jersey to complete their educations.  Prepare International also works to promote better understanding between cultures through exchanges involving teachers and students from West Africa and New Jersey.  This work is good preparation for the work Darlene is now doing at Pendle Hill: handling applications and helping to welcome and orient new Resident Program students, including several from Africa
