Pendle Hill's $25,000 Spring Challenge will match your new or increased donation
A group of generous donors has created a pool of $25,000 to encourage increased financial support for Pendle Hill in spring and summer 2007. Barbara Parsons, Director of Development, notes: "This challenge grant offers the chance to double the benefit of your donation to Pendle Hill. Any new or increased donation will be matched dollar for dollar." She explains, "If you gave $50 last year and increase this year's gift to $100, your increase of $50 will be matched. If you have never given to Pendle Hill and make a donation between now and the end of August, 2007, the full amount of your gift will be matched. If you supported Pendle Hill in the past but have not done so for at least a year, your gift will count in the challenge and will be matched at the full amount."
Who are these generous donors? They recognize the importance of Pendle Hill as a Quaker center for learning and preparation for service in the world, and they are enthusiastic about the leadership Lauri Perman is providing as the new Director of Pendle Hill.
