Pendle Hill on the Road is an opportunity for us to bring a little bit of Pendle Hill to you. Each year we partner with local Friends Meetings to host one or more of the enriching short courses led by a member of the Pendle Hill faculty. Pendle Hill also plans and hosts one or two off-campus events at other retreat centers around the country. Our goal is to get closer to those of you who cannot travel to the Wallingford campus. In this way, we can serve yearly and monthly meetings and invite people to consider taking some time for a fuller experience at Pendle Hill.
If your home community is seeking further education in Quakerism/Quaker History, Spiritual Development, Conscious Use of the Body, Peace and Justice, Bible or Arts & Spirituality, consider hosting a Pendle Hill on the Road program in your area.
Pendle Hill on the Road provides education in a Quaker context, what past Pendle Hill dean and master educator Parker Palmer calls the Meeting for Learning. To arrange for such a course in your area, contact John Meyer at extension 121 at 800-742-3150, or by email at johnm@pendlehill.org.
