Claiming the Creative Path
Affirming and nurturing our creativity are important steps on the journey towards becoming the person we are meant to be. In this course we will learn about the creative process as we engage in expressive art activities such as visual journaling, collage, painting, drawing, printmaking, and the creation of self portraits. We will seek to deepen our connection to the source of our creativity by exploring art as a spiritual practice. Collaborative group activities as well as individual assignments will challenge us to think out of the box and find creative solutions to problems. Students will develop final visioning projects based on their own self reflections and discernment of future direction for their lives.
