The Gospel of John
Jan 8 - Mar 16, 2012 Winter 2012

John tells the story of Jesus through a series of conversations. Each one begins with commonplace circumstances but leads to a higher level of awareness. We will follow these conversations, which invite us into our own conversation with Christ.
Honoring the Seasons of Your Life: A Transformative Art Exploration
Jan 17, 19 and 24, 2012 Winter 2012
Qaadira Allen
This three-part transformative art playshop invites you into a creative conversation with the deep energies of winter, the quiet season of short, dark days that summons us to be still, to rest, to renew. Each session focuses on a different theme and art project. No previous art experience is necessary.
Discerning Our Calls
Jan 8 - Mar 16, 2012 Winter 2012
Eileen Flanagan
This course offers the opportunity to practice spiritual discernment as we seek greater clarity about how we may be called to live and work in the world. We will learn about leadings, practice attentive openness to divine guidance, and support one another in waiting and faithfulness. Classes will include time for experiential exercises as well as discussion, and outside of class participants will meet in small groups to share their journeys.
Liberatory Education
Jan 8 - Mar 16, 2012 Winter 2012
Celia Kutz
Liberation emphasizes empowerment, not correctness. It encourages imagination, courage, and vision in balance with analysis. It starts with validating where people are, rather than judging them for not being somewhere else. Liberation welcomes all people to take their next step knowing that it’s a long road. How can this approach be applied to lifelong learning?
