Celia KutzCelia Kutz is a social justice trainer and artist-facilitator with Training for Change, a nationally based group that supports grassroots movement building. Her particular focus is on cross-cultural relationship building, strategic effectiveness, non-violent direct action, and conflict transformation. She uses Theatre of the Oppressed techniques and Process Work Psychology, and is currently enrolled at the Green River School for Global Somatics, where she studies how information is stored in the body and the ways in which movement can support social change and healing.  Her style integrates audio, visual, kinesthetic, and emotional learning channels to maximize personal empowerment.

 

Celia is a board member of the Common Fire Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping create and sustain intentional communities committed to a more just and sustainable world. She was born and raised in a small farm town in Western, NY and now lives in Minneapolis, MN where she cares for her chickens and lives in community. She loves to hike, swim, sing, and laugh.
