Near the perimeter of Pendle Hill's 23-acre campus is a mile-long walking trail open to all guests and visitors. This trail is made of recycled wood chips spread by staff and students on work mornings. Those who walk the entire trail will explore several small ecosystems: forest and lawn, meadow and wetland, vegetable garden and bamboo grove. Many species of birds and small animals have been sighted on land at Pendle Hill, and bullfrogs, snapping turtles and carp have been seen in our wetland pond near Brinton House.
